Here are some concepts for an FPS being developed by Enthusiast Games. It’s set in the near future. They are doing some really cool stuff with game mechanics. As a player you utilize gravity shifting techniques to change your orientation in the game! It’s exciting to see company’s like Enthusiast Games experimenting with the opportunities that virtual realities afford. Exploring experiences like this where gravity can be bent and molded is an exciting experience in the virtual world.
These concepts were for world building and trying out aesthetics. The brief had me exploring public spaces like a train station and mixed use developments like housing blocks mixed with shopping. The general public in this game have to use things called switch gates to change gravity orientation. It’s an interesting idea, lot’s of potential for story.
